VYVGART HYTRULO® Infusion Therapy

About VYVGART® Infusion Therapy
VYVGART HYTRULO® is a subcutaneous (subQ) version of VYVGART®, which means it is administered under the skin as opposed to in a vein. VYVGART HYTRULO® contains the same active ingredient as VYVGART® but is formulated with hyalurondinase to allow for subQ injection.
The medication works works by blocking the FcRn receptor, which normally recycles immunoglobin (IgG) antibodies in the body. By preventing this recycling process, VYVGART® reduces circulating levels of pathogenic IgG antibodies that attack acetylcholine receptors in myasthenia gravis patients.

Condition treated by this therapy
VYVGART HYTRULO® is an FDA approved biologic therapy indicated to treat Generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) in adult patients who are anti-acetylcholine receptor (AChR) antibody positive.
VYVGART HYTRULO is also approved for the treatment of adult patients with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP).

VYVGART® Price
The cost of prescription medications can vary depending on your insurance coverage. If you're concerned about the price of your medication:
- Contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist about lower-cost alternatives
- Check with the drug manufacturer about financial assistance programs
- Explore patient assistance options if you're uninsured or underinsured
Remember, many resources exist to help patients access necessary medications. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you're struggling with medication costs. No patient should go without necessary treatment due to financial limitations. If you have questions about financial assistance opportunities, contact a member of our Violet Health team.
