YESINTEK® is a medication that helps treat certain inflammatory conditions by targeting the root cause of inflammation in your body. Your immune system normally uses proteins called interleukin-12 and interleukin-23 to trigger inflammation, but sometimes this process goes into overdrive and causes chronic inflammation that damages healthy tissue. YESINTEK® works by blocking the activity of IL-12 and IL-23, which reduces inflammation, pain, swelling, and dermatalogical symptoms. It can be given as an injection under the skin (subcutaneous) or through your vein (intravenous) depending on your condition.

YESINTEK® is approved for adults with any of these conditions, and for children 6 years and older with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Pediatric patient dosing for YESINTEK® may vary, please consult your prescribing physician.

Before your infusion, it is important to drink plenty of water and come to your appointment hydrated. Plan to arrive early with all necessary documentation and for administeration of necessary premedications required prior to treatment.
Your YESTINEK® dose and frequency depends on your specific condition. Depending on your prescriber's order, you may recieve a subcutaneous injection or an IV infusion.

Like all medications, YESINTEK® can cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them.
Potential side effects that are possible:
Serious side effects are rare. However they may include, but are not limited to: allergic reaction, skin cancer risk, and a reduced ability to fight infections.
Patients with serious infections that require hospitilization should consult with their physician, especially patients with a tuberculosis diagnosis (TB) and infections caused by bacteria, fungi or viruses
